Q. What news events are acceptable in MARTIAL ARTS WORLD MAGAZINE?

Seminars, camps, tours, benefits, awards, promotions (from Third Dan
and above), appointments, demonstration, martial arts related
activities and material.
Q. What type of photos should I send?
A.
Large group photos are not usually published in the news because the
faces are unrecognizable. Send clear, color photos that are most
applicable to the news item. Label the back of each photo with the name
of those in the photo (i.e., from left to right, etc.); location of
photo and what is taking place in photo (i.e., presenting an award,
etc.) If photo is an attachment, please key the attachments with a
photo description to the word document. SPECIAL NOTE: If sending
digital photos, via cd or email, scan or shoot at highest resolution
(i.e. no web 72-90 dpi web pictures/ graphics acceptable). Higher 300
dpi best quality jpeg images required.
Q. What articles are acceptable for publication?
A.
MARTIAL ARTS WORLD MAGAZINE covers a vast area of martial information
from self-defense techniques, training techniques, philosophy, history,
profiles of masters/instructors all martial arts. We also spotlight
other interesting martial arts and martial artists from various martial
styles. We look for material that is out of the ordinary and exciting
to read.
Q. Do you pay for news items, tournament reports and articles?
A.
MARTIAL ARTS WORLD MAGAZINE has never paid for news and tournament
submissions. We currently are not purchasing articles; however, we
still encourage submissions if authors do not require remuneration. To

Q. How can I be considered to be on the cover of COMPLETE MARTIAL ART?

with your background as well as your contributions to the martial arts.
In addition, write a brief overview of what the article might contain.
If selected, you will travel to our office (at your own expense) for
cover shots.
